Ingredients:
1/4 of 1 small beetroot, peeled and chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
small piece ginger
1 cardamom
sugar, as required
1 1/2 - 2 cups chilled water, or as required
1 tsp basil seeds / sabja seeds / kasakas
ice cubes
Preparation:
- Soak the basil seeds in 2 tbsp of water for 10 minutes.
- In a blender, add beetroot pieces, lemon juice, ginger, cardamom, sugar, ice cubes and water and blend well. Strain the juice and keep it aside.
- In serving glasses, add soaked basil seeds, lemon slices and then pour the strained pink juice and serve....
