Potato - Onion Bajji / Pakoda

Ingredients:
1 large potato
1 big onion, sliced
3 green chillies, chopped
1 tbsp ginger, finely chopped
1/4-1/2 cup coriander leaves, chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp crushed coriander seeds
salt to taste
1/4 tsp asafoetida
1/2 cup gram flour
oil, as required
Preparation:
- Peel and grate the potato and squeeze well to remove the excess starch out.
- Transfer it to a bowl and add sliced onion, chopped green chillies, ginger, coriander leaves, turmeric powder, chilli powder, garam masala, cumin seeds, crushed coriander seeds and salt and mix well with hand.
- Then add gram flour and asafoetida and mix well with hand.
- Add 1-2 tbsp hot oil into this , mix well with spoon and then mix together with hand.
- Heat oil in a pan and take small amount of mixture and flatten and carefully drop into hot oil.
- Fry them till it turns golden brown on medium flame.. Remove from flame and serve with sauce…
