Prawns Tikka

Ingredients:
500 gm prawns, cleaned
1 tsp garlic paste
1/2 tsp ginger paste
1 tsp tomato paste
1/2 tsp cumin powder
a pinch of turmeric powder
1 tbsp tandoori masala
1 tsp red chilli powder
2 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp oil
capsicum, cubed
onion, cut into squares
bamboo skewers, soaked in water for an hour
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add garlic paste, ginger paste, tomato paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder, lemon juice, tandoori masala, red chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Heat the oil and pour it into the mixture and stir well.
- Add cleaned prawns and mix well and leave to marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to 200 degree celcius.
- Thread the prawns on skewers along with the cubed capsicum and onion.
- Grill for 10-12 minutes on each side (keep checking to avoid overcooking) or until done.....
