Purple Cabbage Pakoda

Ingredients:
1/2 purple cabbage, thinly sliced
1 large onion, thinly sliced
2 green chillies, chopped
small piece ginger, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves, chopped
1/4 cup plain flour
1/4 cup gram flour / kadalamavu
1/4 cup rice flour
1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder (add to your spice level)
1/4 tsp baking soda
salt to taste
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add sliced purple cabbage, onion, chopped green chillies, ginger and curry leaves and mix well.
- Add plain flour, gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder, salt and baking soda to this and mix well with hand adding little water.
- Heat oil in a pan, drop little batter using hand and fry till it turns golden brown and crisp at medium flame.
- Remove it from the oil and drain them on a paper towel….Serve hot with tea..
