Quail Egg / Kaada Mutta Fry

Ingredients:

10-12 quail eggs / kaada mutta

2 shallots, chopped

1 sprig curry leaves

2-3 whole green chillies

3/4 tsp kashmiri chilli powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

2 pinch of salt

2 tbsp coconut oil

Preparation:

  1. Wash and hard boil the quail eggs in water for 10-12 minutes. Then remove the shell and keep it aside.
  2. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add chopped shallots, green chillies and curry leaves and saute.
  3. Reduce the flame to very low or switch off and add kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt and saute well. Don't burn.
  4. Then add boiled eggs and mix well at low flame for 1-2 minutes. Switch off the flame and serve...
