Ingredients:

1 cup chilled milk

3-4 tbsp rose syrup

50 g falooda sev

1 1/2 tbsp basil seeds / sabja seeds

strawberry ice cream , as required

cherries, to garnish

Preparation:

  1. Soak basil seeds in 1/2 cup of water for for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Cook the falooda sev in boiling water for 4-5 minutes or till it softens. Drain it and keep it aside.
  3. In a bowl / jug, add chilled milk and rose syrup and mix well. Check for the sweetness and flavor and add more if required.
  4. To assemble, in 2-3 serving glasses drizzle some rose syrup and add 2-3 tbsp of cooked falooda sev and then add 2-3 tbsp soaked basil seeds.
  5. Now add rose milk mixture (step 3) and top it with a scoop of strawberry ice cream.
  6. Garnish with cherries and serve immediately...
  • You can use vermicelli if falooda sev is not available.
