Shallot Raita

Ingredients:

6-8 shallots / cheriya ulli , chopped

1 green chilli, cut into thin rounds

1/4 tsp ginger, finely chopped

3 tbsp tomato, finely chopped

1/2 cup yogurt, beaten

salt to taste

1/8 tsp mustard seeds, crushed

Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, add chopped shallots, green chilli, ginger, tomato and salt and mix well.
  2. Add beaten yogurt and crushed mustard seeds to this and mix well. Serve with rice and other side dishes..
