Ingredients:
100 gm soya chunks
1 big onion, chopped
1 inch ginger, finely chopped
6 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 green chillies, chopped
1 sprig curry leaves
1 tbsp coriander powder
1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 tsp crushed pepper
salt to taste
3 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation:
- Boil 1 litre water adding salt and add soya chunks and boil for 4-5 minutes till soft.
- Then drain the water, rinse with cold water and squeeze out the excess water completely and keep it aside in a bowl.
- Heat coconut oil in a pan and add chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies and saute.
- Add chopped onion, curry leaves and little salt and saute well till golden at medium flame.
- Then reduce the flame to low and add coriander powder, kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder and garam masala and saute.
- Add 1/4 cup of water and lemon juice and mix well.
- Add soya chunks and mix well at low flame for 3-4 minutes till well roasted.
- Add tomato sauce and crushed pepper and mix well for a minute.
- Adjust the salt and remove from the flame and serve hot...
