Ingredients:


500 gm prawns, cleaned

2 tsp + 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder

1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

1/2 tsp + 1 tsp pepper powder

1 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 tsp cumin seeds

1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste

1 tsp chilli flakes

1 sprig curry leaves

salt to taste

4-5 tbsp butter


Preparation:


  1. Clean the prawns and marinate it with 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, salt and lemon juice and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Heat 2-3 tbsp butter in a skillet / pan and add marinated prawns and shallow fry in batches for about 3-4 minutes and keep it aside.
  3. In the same pan add 2 tbsp butter and add cumin seeds.
  4. Add ginger-garlic paste, chilli flakes and curry leaves and saute well till the raw smell goes.
  5. Add 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp pepper powder and salt and saute.
  6. Add 1/4 cup of water to make it saucy and then add fried prawns. Mix it well to coat prawns with the spicy sauce.
  7. Adjust the salt and remove from the flame. Serve hot...
