Spicy Butter Prawns

Ingredients:
500 gm prawns, cleaned
2 tsp + 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1/2 tsp + 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp + 1 tsp pepper powder
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp chilli flakes
1 sprig curry leaves
salt to taste
4-5 tbsp butter
Preparation:
- Clean the prawns and marinate it with 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, salt and lemon juice and keep it aside for 10-15 minutes.
- Heat 2-3 tbsp butter in a skillet / pan and add marinated prawns and shallow fry in batches for about 3-4 minutes and keep it aside.
- In the same pan add 2 tbsp butter and add cumin seeds.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, chilli flakes and curry leaves and saute well till the raw smell goes.
- Add 2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp pepper powder and salt and saute.
- Add 1/4 cup of water to make it saucy and then add fried prawns. Mix it well to coat prawns with the spicy sauce.
- Adjust the salt and remove from the flame. Serve hot...
