Ingredients:
1/2 kg squid
2 big onions, thinly sliced
2 tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 tsp garlic, crushed
2 tbsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3 sprigs curry leaves
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Clean the squid and cut into small pieces .
- In a pressure cooker, add cleaned squid, chopped onion, tomato, garlic, chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt and cook for 2 whistles.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the curry leaves. Then add the cooked squid along with its gravy and stir well until the gravy thickens and almost all the water dries up.
- Remove from the flame and serve with pathiri, neer dosa etc...
