Sweet and Spicy Chicken Wings

Ingredients:
10 chicken wings
1 tbsp ginger-garlic, crushed
1 tsp black pepper powder, freshly ground
1 1/2 tsp soy sauce
salt to taste
1/4 cup oil
For Sauce:
2 tsp garlic, finely chopped
3 green chillies
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp cornflour
1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
1 1/2-2 tsp black pepper powder, freshly ground
2 tbsp spring onion, chopped
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
Preparation:
- Clean the chicken wings and marinate it with crushed ginger-garlic, 1 tsp pepper powder, 1 1/2 tsp soy sauce and salt. Keep it covered in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the marinated chicken wings till it is cooked and turns golden colour.
- Remove the fried chicken wings from the pan and keep it aside.
- Heat the same pan with oil ( add 1 tbsp oil if required) and add finely chopped garlic and green chillies and saute for a minute.
- Add 1 tsp soy sauce, red chilli sauce and tomato sauce to this and mix well and cook for a minute.
- Combine cornflour in 1/2 cup freshly squeezed orange juice and add it to the sauce mixture, stirring continuously and cook till thick.
- Add pepper powder, chopped spring onions and little salt and mix well.
- Add the fried chicken wings to this and combine evenly till well coated with sauce.
- Top it with chopped coriander leaves and remove from the flame. Serve hot...
