Ingredients:
1 trevally fish ( vatta )
2 - 2 1/2 tsp kashmiri chilli powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
3/4 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp cornflour
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- Clean the fish and make slits on both sides.
- Prepare a masala by mixing chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, cornflour, salt, lemon juice and little water.
- Marinate the cleaned fish with this masala on both sides and keep it aside for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat little oil in a pan and add a sprig of curry leaves.
- Place the marinated fish and shallow fry the fish in medium flame until both sides are browned and done. Serve with rice..
