Ingredients:

2 cup vazhakoombu / vazhapoo/ banana flower, cleaned

3-4 tsp chilli powder ( adjust the spice level )

salt to taste

oil for frying


Preparation:

  1. In a bowl, add cleaned vazhakoombu, chilli powder and salt and mix well with hand.
  2. Then steam cook it for 5 minutes .
  3. Spread on a sheet and dry them in the sun for 2-3 days or until crisp.
  4. Store in an air-tight container. Deep fry in oil as required....
