Ingredients:
2 big ripe bananas / plantains / nendrapazham
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 - 3/4 cup grated coconut
1/4 tsp cardamom powder
1 tbsp ghee
samosa sheets, as required
oil, for frying
Preparation:
- Peel and cut the bananas into small pieces.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add the chopped bananas and roast well adding sugar till golden in colour.
- Add grated coconut and cardamom powder and mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Remove it from the flame and keep it aside to cool.
- In a bowl, combine 2-3 tbsp plain flour with little water to make a medium thick paste and keep it aside.
- To prepare the samosa, take the samosa sheet one by one, add the banana filling, fold and seal with the help of flour paste.
- Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the samosas in batches on medium flame until golden brown.
- Remove them from the oil and drain them on a paper towel. Serve with tea / coffee...
