Ingredients:

250 g beef

8 garlic cloves, crushed

1/4 " piece ginger, crushed

1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder

1/4 tsp turmeric powder

3/4 tsp fennel powder

1/4 tsp garam masala

1/4 tsp pepper powder

2 tsp kashmiri chilli flakes

2 tsp soy sauce

2 tsp coconut oil

1 tbsp vinegar

few curry leaves

3 tbsp cornflour

3-4 green chillies

salt to taste

oil for frying

Preparation:

  1. Cook the beef and then cut into thin strips and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl, add kashmiri chilli powder, turmeric powder, fennel powder, garam masala, pepper powder, crushed ginger, garlic, chilli flakes, soy sauce, vinegar, coconut oil, curry leaves and salt and mix well.
  3. Add the beef strips and mix well with the marinade and keep it covered in the fridge for at least 1 hour.
  4. Add cornflour to this and mix well. Add green chillies and few curry leaves and mix well.
  5. Heat oil in a pan/ kadai and add the marinated beef one by one into the hot oil and fry them at medium flame in batches till crispy.
