Ingredients:
200 gm pepperoni slices
5 garlic cloves, chopped
1 medium onion, cut into cubes
2 tbsp spring onion whites, chopped
1/2 capsicum, cut into cubes
1-1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
2-3 tbsp tomato sauce
1 1/2- 2 tbsp red chilli sauce
1 tsp cornflour
salt to taste
1 tbsp spring onion greens, chopped
1 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan and add pepperoni slices and fry/ cook at medium flame for 5-6 minutes and keep it aside.
- In the same oil, add chopped garlic and saute.
- Add onion and spring onion whites and saute well for 1-2 minutes.
- Add capsicum cubes and saute for a minute.
- Then add soy sauce, tomato sauce and chilli sauce and mix well.
- Once the sauce thickens, add 1/4 cup of water and allow it to boil.
- Then add the cooked pepperoni, mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Now add cornflour slurry ( 1 tsp cornflour mixed in 1/4 cup water) and mix well. Adjust the salt.
- Garnish with chopped spring onion greens and remove from flame. Serve hot...
- Adjust the sauce and spice level according to your taste....
