Pacha Pineapple Pachadi

Ingredients:
1/4 cup unripe pineapple ( pacha pineapple) , finely chopped
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup grated coconut
1 big green chilli
1 tsp crushed mustard seeds
1/2-3/4 cup yogurt, less sour
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 sprig curry leaves
2 dry red chillies
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Grind grated coconut and green chilli together to a smooth thick paste and then add 1 tsp crushed mustard seeds to this and mix well. Keep it aside.
- In a pan, add chopped pineapple, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt and cook adding little water till cooked and the water dries.
- Add ground coconut paste and stir well continuously till the raw smell goes.
- Switch off the flame and allow to cool slightly.
- Then add the beaten yogurt and sugar and mix well.
- Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and add dry red chillies and curry leaves.
- Pour this over the pachadi and mix well and serve with rice...
