Ingredients:
1 cup plain flour
3/4 cup coconut milk
3/4 cup water
1 egg
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- In a blender, add plain flour, coconut milk, water, egg, salt, turmeric powder and 2 tbsp oil and blend together to a smooth batter.
- Strain the batter into a bowl to remove any lumps.
- Heat the tawa / pan on medium flame and lightly grease with oil.
- Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle / roti jala cup and gently squeeze / move the cup in a circular motion over the tawa to form a lacy pattern.
- Let it cook for about 1 minute, or until set on very low flame and transfer it to a plate.
- Then fold from both sides and roll it gently or fold into triangles..
- Repeat the same process with the remaining batter and then serve with spicy chicken curry or any curry of your choice...
