Ingredients:


1 cup plain flour

3/4 cup coconut milk

3/4 cup water

1 egg

1 tsp salt

1/2 tsp turmeric powder

2 tbsp oil


Preparation:


  1. In a blender, add plain flour, coconut milk, water, egg, salt, turmeric powder and 2 tbsp oil and blend together to a smooth batter.
  2. Strain the batter into a bowl to remove any lumps.
  3. Heat the tawa / pan on medium flame and lightly grease with oil.
  4. Pour the batter into a squeeze bottle / roti jala cup and gently squeeze / move the cup in a circular motion over the tawa to form a lacy pattern.
  5. Let it cook for about 1 minute, or until set on very low flame and transfer it to a plate.
  6. Then fold from both sides and roll it gently or fold into triangles..
  7. Repeat the same process with the remaining batter and then serve with spicy chicken curry or any curry of your choice...
