Mushroom Pepper Soup

Ingredients:

150 gm  mushroom, chopped into small pieces
2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
2 tbsp onion, finely chopped
1 tsp pepper powder
salt to taste
2 tsp corn flour
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1 tbsp butter

Preparation:

  1. In a small bowl, mix corn flour with 1/4 cup of water without any lumps and keep it aside.
  2. Heat butter in a pan and add chopped garlic and saute.
  3. Add chopped onion and saute well.
  4. Add sliced mushroom, pepper powder and salt and saute well till cooked.
  5. Add the cornflour slurry and enough water ( about 2- 2 1/2 cup ) and cook for 4-5 minutes till thick, stirring continuously.
  6. Adjust the salt and pepper powder and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  7. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix well and remove from flame.
