Ingredients:
2 cups macaroni
300 gm chicken
2 onions, chopped
1 tomato, chopped
5 green chillies, chopped
1 tsp ginger, crushed
1 tsp garlic, crushed
1 tbsp coriander powder
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp pepper powder
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp fennel powder
1 1/2 cup coconut milk
few coriander leaves, chopped
salt to taste
1/2 tbsp ghee
1- 1 1/2 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Cut chicken into small pieces and cook it with little pepper powder, turmeric powder and salt adding enough water and keep it aside
- Boil 5 cups of water in a large pan adding a tsp of oil and salt. Add macaroni to this and cook till done. Strain in colander, rinse under cold running water and drain thoroughly. Keep it aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil and 1/2 tbsp ghee in a thick bottomed pan and add crushed ginger and garlic and saute well till the raw smell disappears.
- Add chopped onion, tomato and green chillies and saute well.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, fennel powder and salt and mix well.
- Add cooked chicken pieces and 1/2 cup of  chicken stock ( water used for cooking chicken) and allow to boil.
- Add the cooked macaroni and mix well. Then add the coconut milk , mix well and cook for 5 minutes in low flame.
- Transfer to a serving plate, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot….
