Sprouted Green Gram Salad / Mulappicha Cherupayar Raita



Ingredients:

3/4-1 cup sprouted green gram
1 small cucumber, peeled and chopped
1 small tomato, finely chopped
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup carrot, finely chopped
1 cup yoghurt
a pinch of pepper powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped


Preparation:

  1. Steam the sprouted green gram in a steamer or microwave for 3-4 minutes.
  2. In a bowl, add in sprouted green gram, chopped cucumber, onion, tomato, carrot, a pinch of pepper powder and salt and mix well.
