Strawberry Pachadi


1 cup strawberry, chopped
1 cup grated coconut
1-2 green chillies
1/2 tsp cumin seeds
1 shallot
1/2 tsp crushed mustard
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
1 cup yogurt , beaten
1 sprig curry leaves
2 dry red chillies
salt to taste
2 tsp oil


  1. Chop strawberries into small pieces.
  2. Grind grated coconut with cumin seeds, green chillies and shallot to a thick smooth paste.
  3. In a pan, add ground paste, chopped strawberries and salt, mix well and heat for 2-3 minutes. Don’t allow to boil.
  4. Then add beaten yogurt and mix well. Add 1/2 tsp crushed mustard and mix well. Check for salt and switch off the flame.
  5. Heat little oil in a pan and splutter 1/2 tsp mustard seeds. Add dry red chillies and curry leaves and pour this over the curry….Serve with rice…
