Ingredients:
250 gm mascarpone cheese
50 gm powdered sugar
120 gm sponge fingers/ lady fingers/ savoiardi biscuits
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp of coffee powder
chocolate shavings
Nutella
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add mascarpone cheese and stir it with a spatula.
- Add powdered sugar to this and mix until combined.
- Add vanilla essence and cooled coffee mixture ( 1 tsp coffee powder mixed in 30 ml hot water and cooled) and mix well.
- Crush lady finger biscuits to powder (not too fine powder ).
- Add it to the mascarpone mixture and combine. Then refrigerate it for 2 hours.
- Take a tbsp full of the dough and flatten it and pipe / spoon nutella in the centre.
- Wrap the nutella with the dough, sealing the edges and shaping it into a ball.
- Roll the prepared truffles in chocolate shavings.
- Refrigerate for an hour before serving…
