Tiramisu Truffles


250 gm mascarpone cheese
50 gm powdered sugar
120 gm sponge fingers/ lady fingers/ savoiardi biscuits
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tsp of coffee powder
chocolate shavings


  1. In a bowl, add mascarpone cheese and stir it with a spatula.
  2. Add powdered sugar to this and mix until combined.
  3. Add vanilla essence and cooled coffee mixture ( 1 tsp coffee powder mixed in 30 ml hot water and cooled) and mix well.
  4. Crush lady finger biscuits to powder (not too fine powder ).
  5. Add it to the mascarpone mixture and combine. Then refrigerate it for 2 hours.
  6. Take a tbsp full of the dough and flatten it and pipe / spoon nutella in the centre.
  7. Wrap the nutella with the dough, sealing the edges and shaping it into a ball.
  8. Roll the prepared truffles in chocolate shavings.
  9. Refrigerate for an hour before serving…
