Ingredients:
1 cup apple, peeled and finely chopped
1 cup rava / semolina
1 – 1 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup water
3/4 cup milk
1/4-1/2 cup ghee
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
2 tbsp almonds / badam, chopped
Preparation:
- Heat 1 tbsp ghee in a pan and fry chopped almonds and keep it aside.
- In the same pan, add the rava / semolina and roast at low flame and keep it aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp ghee in a pan and add finely chopped apple and saute well.
- Add sugar to this and saute well till sugar dissolves.
- Add roasted rava and mix well. Then add water and milk to this and mix well.
- When the mixture starts thickening, add the remaining ghee little by little and stir well. Add cardamom powder and fried almonds and mix well.
- When the mixture separates from the pan, switch off the flame. Garnish with almonds and serve…
