Ingredients:
a bunch of asparagus
5-6 shallots, crushed
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 sprig curry leaves
1 1/2-2 tsp chilli flakes
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
salt to taste
1 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- Wash and chop asparagus into pieces and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a pan and add crushed shallots, garlic and curry leaves and saute for a minute.
- Add chilli flakes and saute again for 2 minutes till the raw smell goes.
- Then add asparagus pieces, turmeric powder and salt and mix well.
- Sprinkle little water and cook covered at low flame, stirring occasionally till the asparagus are cooked well and the water completely dries up.
