Ingredients:
1 cup basmati rice
1/2 cup sprouted green grams
1 large onion, thinly sliced
1 carrot, thinly sliced
1 capsicum, chopped
1/4 cup cabbage, grated
1 tsp chilli sauce
2 tsp light soy sauce
1 tsp pepper powder
salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1/4 cup spring onions, finely chopped
1 tbsp oil
Preparation:
- In a large pan, boil water adding enough salt. Add washed basmati rice and cook till done. Drain the water and keep it aside.
- Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan and saute the onions till transparent.
- Add the sliced carrots and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the sprouted green grams and cabbage and stir for 2 minutes.
- Add chopped capsicum and mix well for a minute.
- Then add chilli sauce, soy sauce, pepper powder, salt and sugar and saute for 4-5 minutes.
- Add the cooked rice and stir well to combine. Check for salt and add if required.
- Garnish with spring onions and remove from flame….Serve warm…
