250 gm unsalted cashew nuts
3-4 tbsp gram flour
2-3 tsp kashmiri chilli powder ( adjust to your spice level)
a pinch of asafoetida
salt to taste
oil for frying
- In a mixing bowl, add the cashew nuts, gram flour, chilli powder, asafoetida and salt and mix well.
- Sprinkle little water and mix well until the masala is well coated with the cashew nuts.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the masala coated cashew nuts in batches on medium flame until golden brown.
- Remove from oil and drain them on a paper towel. Store in an air tight container once it cools down…
