1 1/2 cup yoghurt
1/2 tsp ginger, finely chopped
1/4 tsp cumin powder
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
salt to taste
- Peel and chop the cucumber into fine pieces. Add little salt to this and keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- In a large bowl, add the yoghurt and stir well. Add chopped ginger, cumin powder, coriander leaves and a pinch of salt and mix well.
- Add the finely chopped cucumber to this and mix well. Serve this raita with biriyani, pulao etc.
