Ingredients:
10 kaada mutta/ quail eggs, boiled and peeled
1/2 cup gram flour / kadalapodi
1 tbsp rice flour
1/4 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 green chilly, finely chopped
a pinch of asafoetida
1/4 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp curry leaves, chopped
salt to taste
water as required
oil for frying
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add gram flour, rice flour, chilli powder, turmeric powder, ginger-garlic paste, chopped green chilly, garam masala, asafoetida, curry leaves and salt and mix well.

Add required water little by little to this and make a thick batter.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat and dip the boiled quail eggs in the batter and deep fry until it turns golden colour.
- Remove from the oil and drain them on a paper towel….Serve hot with tea or coffee 🙂
Using quail eggs is a superb idea to made egg bhajj..would be a perfect portion size…looks yum
