Ingredients:
1 cup roasted rava / semolina
1 1/4 cup boiling water
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
1 green chilli, finely chopped
1 tsp ginger, finely chopped
3/4 cup grated coconut
1 sprig curry leaves
3 dry red chillies, broken
1 tsp mustard seeds
1/2 tsp urad dal
salt to taste
1 tbsp ghee
Preparation:
- Heat ghee in a pan and splutter mustard seeds and fry urad dal till brown.
- Add dry red chillies, curry leaves, onion, ginger and green chillies and saute well.
- When colour starts to change, add roasted rava and salt and mix well.
- Add boiling water little by little, stirring continuously, till soft without forming lumps ( break the lumps using the spatula).
- Then add grated coconut and mix well. Switch off the flame and serve…
