Ingredients:
6 kondattam mulaku / dried salted curd chilli (thairu mulaku)
10-12 shallots
3/4 cup grated coconut
gooseberry sized tamarind
1 sprig curry leaves
Preparation:
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and fry the curd chillies and keep it aside.
- Saute the shallots in the same oil and add curry leaves. Remove from the flame and allow it to cool.
- Then transfer into a blender and add grated coconut, tamarind and fried curd chillies and grind well without adding water.
