Ingredients:
1/2 kg chicken, cut into pieces
2 tbsp + 1 tbsp corn flour
2 tbsp plain flour
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 1/2 tsp + 2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp lemon juice
3/4 tsp pepper powder
1 1/4 tsp + 2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
2 1/2 tbsp garlic, chopped
1 tsp ginger, chopped
4 green chillies, slit
2 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 tsp chilli sauce
1 capsicum, cubed
1 tsp vinegar
spring onions, chopped
1 tbsp sesame oil
salt to taste
oil, as required
Preparation:
- In a bowl, 2 tbsp add corn flour, plain flour, ginger-garlic paste, 1 1/2 tsp soy sauce, lemon juice, pepper powder, 1 1/4 tsp kashmiri chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Add cleaned chicken pieces into this and mix well. (Don’t add water.) Keep it covered for 15 minutes.
- Heat little oil in a pan and fry the chicken pieces till cooked. Keep it aside.
- Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and add chopped garlic and saute at medium flame.
- Add 1/4 cup chopped spring onion whites and little greens and mix well.
- Add chopped ginger and green chillies and saute well at medium flame.
- Add 2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder and mix well till the raw smell goes.
- Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, tomato sauce and chilli sauce and mix well.
- Add 1/2 cup of water and mix well. Add salt as required.
- Add corn flour mix ( in a bowl, mix 1 tbsp corn flour with 1 cup of water without any lumps) to this and mix well at low flame.
- When it starts to thicken, add chopped capsicum and mix well.
- Add vinegar, spring onions and fried chicken and mix well.
- Add 1 tbsp sesame oil and mix well. Switch off the flame and serve hot…
