Kunafa Bread Toast


4 bread slices
1 cup kunafa dough, crushed
2 tbsp thick cream
2 tbsp mozzarella cheese
4 tbsp ghee / butter
1 egg, beaten
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
1 tbsp rose water
3 cardamoms, crushed


  1. In a saucepan, add sugar , 1 cup of water, rose water and cardamom and boil all together and reduce to a thick simple sugar syrup. Keep it aside.
  2. To the bread slice generously spread in thick cream.
  3. Add the mozzarella cheese and cover with another slice of bread.
  4. Dip in the beaten egg and then coat with the kunafa.
  5. Heat ghee / butter in a pan and toast in both the sides till crispy.
  6. Then pour in sugar syrup and serve it warm…
