Avocado Toast


1 large ripe avocado
3/4 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 tsp garlic, grated or minced
2-3 tbsp onion, finely chopped
1 tsp chilli flakes
salt to taste


  1. Cut the avocado in half. Remove the pit and scoop out the flesh with a spoon to a bowl and add lemon juice, garlic, onion, chilli flakes and salt and mash well with a fork.
  2. Spread the mixture on toasted bread slices and sprinkle some chilli flakes.
