Ingredients:
1/4 of 1 big beetroot ( about 5 pieces )
3/4-1 cup yogurt
salt to taste
1/2 tsp pepper powder ( as required )
1 1/2 tsp olive oil
2 tbsp coriander leaves, finely chopped
1/2 garlic, grated or finely chopped
Preparation:
- Cook the beetroot pieces adding enough water till soft and then grind to a paste adding little water and keep it aside.
- In a bowl, add yogurt and beat well using a spoon / whisk till smooth and creamy.
- Add pepper powder, salt, olive oil and chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
- Add beetroot paste and mix well.
- Then add finely chopped / grated garlic and mix well. Adjust salt and serve with pita bread, chicken fry etc…
