This was one of the tea snacks which I had routinely during my hostel days in Mangalore……
I got the recipe from here…
Ingredients:
2 cups self raising flour
1 cup yoghurt
1 tbsp cumin seeds
1 tsp ginger- garlic paste
3-4 green chillies, finely chopped
salt
oil for frying
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add self raising flour and yoghurt and mix together.
- Add cumin seeds, ginger- garlic paste, green chillies and salt. Add little water if required and mix together to a thick dosa consistency.
- Heat oil in a pan, take a spoon of prepared batter and drop into hot oil and deep fry in a medium flame till golden brown. Serve hot with chutney…
- If you are using plain flour, add pinch of baking soda and keep for fermentation for at least 4-5 hours.
