Ingredients:
1 cup grated carrot ( 2 carrots)
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1/2 cup sugar ( add to your taste)
3-4 cups of cold water, or as required
1 tbsp basil seeds/ kaskas
Preparation:
- Soak the basil seeds in 1/2 cup of water for 10-15 minutes.
- In a blender, add grated carrot and blend well adding about 1 1/2-2 cups of cold water until smooth.
- Strain the juice and then transfer it to the blender and add lemon juice, sugar and remaining water and blend well again.
- In serving glasses, add soaked basil seeds and pour the carrot juice and top it with ice cubes and then serve….
