Ingredients:
600 g chicken, cleaned
3 medium onions, chopped
2 tbsp ginger-garlic, crushed
3 green chillies, chopped
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
2 1/2 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
1 tsp garam masala
1 tsp lemon juice
3 tbsp tomato sauce
1/2 tsp crushed pepper
3 sprig curry leaves
salt to taste
4 tbsp coconut oil
Preparation:
- Heat oil in a pan and add crushed ginger- garlic and chopped green chillies and saute at medium flame.
- Add chopped onion and salt and saute well till golden.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, kashmiri chilli powder and garam masala and saute for a minute.
- Add cleaned chicken pieces, lemon juice and curry leaves and mix well for 5 minutes at medium flame.
- Add 1/4 cup of water and cook covered at medium flame for 10 minutes, stirring in between.
- Then reduce the flame to low and cook for about 3-4 minutes.
- Open the lid and stir for 2 minutes and add tomato sauce, crushed pepper and curry leaves and mix well for another 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from the flame and serve hot…
