Hariyali Chicken Tikka


500 gm boneless chicken, cut into small pieces
1 cup coriander leaves
1/2 cup mint leaves
4-5 green chillies
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup yogurt
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1/2 tsp crushed pepper
1 tsp cumin powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp kasuri methi
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
oil, for frying


  1. Grind together coriander leaves, mint leaves, green chillies and lemon juice to a smooth paste.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and add yogurt, ginger-garlic paste, crushed pepper, cumin powder, turmeric powder, kasuri methi, garam masala and salt and mix well.
  3. Add chicken pieces into this and mix well and keep it aside for at least 1 hour.
  4. Then arrange / thread the chicken pieces into wooden skewers.
  5. Heat little oil in a frying pan / grill pan and fry them, flipping in between till all sides are cooked evenly and lightly charred. Serve hot…
