Dates Drink


15 dates, pitted and chopped
25 gm cashew nuts
3 cups milk
2-3 tbsp sugar
chopped cashew nuts, almonds – for garnishing


  1. Soak cashew nuts in little water for 2 hours.
  2. In a pan, add chopped dates. 2 cups of milk and sugar and cook for 15 minutes at medium flame till soft, stirring in between. Switch off the flame and allow to cool completely.
  3. Transfer to a blender and add soaked cashew nuts and blend well till smooth.
  4. Then add 1 cup of milk and blend again.
  5. Serve chilled garnished with chopped cashew nuts , almonds etc…
