Crispy Banana Fry

Ingredients:

2 ripe plantians/ kerala bananas ( nendrapazham)
1 cup plain flour
2 tbsp rice flour
3 tbsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 1/2 cup cornflakes
oil, for frying

Preparation:

  1. Peel and slice bananas lengthwise and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl, add plain flour, rice flour, sugar and salt and mix well using whisk.
  3. Add water little by little and mix well with fork / spoon to a dosa batter consistency.
  4. Take cornflakes in a plate and crush with hand and keep it aside.
  5. Heat oil in a pan. Dip the sliced banana in batter and then place on cornflakes and coat well with cornflakes.
  6. Deep fry them at medium flame till brown. Remove from oil and serve with tea/ coffee…
