Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas/ Nendrapazham
1/2 cup maida/ plain flour
1/4 cup cornflour
1 egg
a pinch of baking soda
a pinch of turmeric powder
2 tsp sugar
Preparation:
- In a bowl, add plain flour, cornflour, baking soda, turmeric powder, sugar, egg and little water (if needed) and make a batter of coating consistency and keep for 1 hour.
- Slice bananas into round pieces and dip each banana pieces into the batter.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the coated banana pieces till golden brown. Serve with cup of tea or coffee..
