Chicken Keema Macaroni

Ingredients:

2 cups macaroni
400 gm chicken keema (kheema) / chicken mince
2 sliced onion
tomato puree of 2 tomatoes
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
2 green chillies, chopped
1/2 cup capsicum, chopped
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tbsp soy sauce
3 tbsp tomato sauce
1 tsp oregano
salt to taste
2 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
3-4 tbsp oil

Preparation:

  1. Boil water in a deep pan, add macaroni, 1 tbsp of oil and salt and cook for 8-10 minutes or according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta and keep it aside.
  2. Heat 2-3 tbsp oil in a pan and add ginger-garlic paste and saute well.
  3. Add sliced onions and saute well till transparent.
  4. Add chopped green chillies and capsicum and mix well for 2 minutes.
  5. Add chilli powder, pepper powder, coriander powder and turmeric powder and mix well.
  6. Add chicken mince / keema and mix well adding enough salt. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
  7. Add tomato puree to this and mix well for 2-3 minutes. Then add 2 tbsp of hot water and mix well.
  8. Add soy sauce and tomato sauce and mix well.
  9. Add oregano and cooked macaroni and mix till well combined and cook covered for another 2-3 minutes on low flame.
