Koova Kizhangu Puzhungiyathu / Boiled Arrowroot

Ingredients:

1/2 kg koova kizhangu / arrowroot
water, as required
salt to taste

Preparation:

  1. Remove the outer skin of arrowroots and wash thoroughly.

2. Transfer to a pressure cooker and add enough salt and water and cook for 3-5 whistles.
3. Once the pressure releases, open the cooker and drain the water…Serve with tea….
