Coconut Milk Crab Fry

Ingredients:

4-5 crabs, cleaned
1 tsp + 1 tbsp chilli powder
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 cup coconut milk ( add more if needed )
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp pepper powder
1 tsp garam masala
salt to taste
2 sprig curry leaves
1-1 1/2 tbsp oil

Preparation:

  1. Cut the crabs into pieces, clean it and marinate it with 1 tsp chilli powder and salt and keep it aside.
  2. In a bowl, add coconut milk, ginger-garlic paste, 1 tbsp chilli powder, turmeric powder, pepper powder and garam masala and mix well.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add marinated crabs and pour the prepared coconut milk mix over the crabs.
  4. Add curry leaves and cook covered at low-medium flame, stirring in between till the crabs are cooked and all the water evaporates.

  • Add more coconut milk if needed and adjust the salt and spice level to your taste…
