Ingredients:
12-15 okra/ vendakka
1/2 of 1 onion, chopped
3 green chillies, slit
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 sprig curry leaves
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/4 cup grated coconut
1 tsp mustard seeds
salt
oil
Preparation:
- Cut okra into small pieces.
- Heat oil in a pan , splutter mustard seeds and add curry leaves.
- Add chopped onion and saute till transparent. Add green chillies, garlic and chopped okra and mix well.
- Add turmeric powder and salt, mix well and cook in low flame.
- Add grated coconut and stir well for 1-2 minutes. Remove from flame and serve with rice…..
