Pineapple – Basil Seed Drink

Ingredients:

2 cups pineapple, peeled and chopped
1 1/2 cup chilled water
2-3 tbsp sugar or as required
1 tbsp basil seeds/ sabja seeds/ kaskas

Preparation:

    1. Soak the basil seeds in 1/2 cup of water for 10-15 minutes.
    1. Peel and cut pineapple into small pieces.
    2. In a blender, add the pineapple pieces, sugar and water and blend well.
    3. Strain the prepared juice and pour into a jug/ bowl and add the soaked basil seeds and stir well.
    1. Pour into serving glasses and serve with ice cubes…..
