Ingredients:
1/4 cup beetroot, chopped
1 cup yogurt
1 green chillies, finely chopped
1/4 cup small onion, finely chopped
2 tbsp grated carrot
1/4 cup cucumber, chopped
1 tbsp coriander leaves, chopped
1/4 tsp cumin powder
salt to taste
Preparation:
- Grind the chopped beetroot adding 2-3 tbsp water to a paste and keep it aside
- In a bowl, add yogurt, cumin powder and salt and mix well.
- Add ground beetroot paste to this and mix well.
- Add coriander leaves, green chillies, cucumber and carrot and mix well. Serve as a side dish with rice, naan etc..
