Carrot- Muringayila/ Drumstick Leaves Thoran

Ingredients:

2 carrots, grated
1 cup drumstick leaves
2 green chillies, chopped
1/4 cup grated coconut
1 small onion, finely chopped
1/2 tsp mustard seeds
2 dry red chillies
salt
oil

Preparation:

  1. Remove the drumstick leaves from the stems and wash thoroughly…
  2. In a bowl, add grated carrots, drumstick leaves, grated coconut, chopped green chillies, chopped onion and salt and mix well.
  3. Heat little oil in a pan, splutter mustard seeds and add dry red chiilies.
  4. Add carrot- drumstick leaves mixture and stir well.
  5. Cover and cook on low heat till done, stirring occasionally. Remove from flame and serve with rice…
